WhatsApp tiny anti-hate step: message forwarding limited to 20, and 5 in India after mob lynchings

The Guardian reports that In the last 2 months 20 people have been set on by mobs and murdered after being falsely accused of child abduction on the app.

The previous forwarding cap, rarely hit by users, was more than 250.
